About Running Lifestyle Media

Running Lifestyle is an online media publication for runners who travel and train for destination races. Explore recommendations for the running destinations you plan to visit, learn about upcoming races, and find tips to help you train.

Running Lifestyle is designed to connect you to the running community.

We publish in-depth destination City Guides in collaboration with running specialty stores so you’re sure to get firsthand insights into the local running scene. Plus, get to know inspiring running leaders and the stories behind local run clubs in our Q&As.

If you’re preparing for a race — or seeking motivation — check out our training articles, featuring valuable advice from certified running coaches.

About the Founder

Hi, I’m Kimberly Valentine, the founder of Running Lifestyle Media. This online publication was inspired by my love for exploring cities through running — finding the best routes to run, running stores to visit, and run clubs and races to participate in. It’s a lifestyle that my husband Nick and I both live. In fact, we met at a group run in Phoenix in 2013. His career in the Air Force has since led us to different areas of the country where we’ve found community among fellow runners, and we currently lead our own running group in Georgia called Perry Run Group.

I’m a certified running coach (RRCA) and have worked at running specialty stores, including Runners Roost in Colorado and Sole Sports in Arizona. On the editorial side of my career, I’ve been a writer and editor for print lifestyle and visitor publications and online business and service journalism media brands. With Running Lifestyle, I look forward to publishing value-packed running destination guides, stories of inspiring runners and run clubs, and training articles to help you build connections and find community as you train, travel, and race.

Running Lifestyle does not publish articles generated by AI. You’ll find only real insights from human runners here.

Running Lifestyle does not publish product reviews. There are plenty of review sites out there already!

This content is clearly identified as such (“Sponsored Content”) and adheres to editorial guidelines so that it is value-driven and informative, never promotional.

Content published is at the editorial discretion of Running Lifestyle’s editor and contributors. This may include recommendations chosen based on opinion, such as running routes, destination races, and local eateries in City Guides and Race Guides. These guides and other content in which opinions or recommendations are shared are not intended to be all-encompassing or provide the best answers for every runner.
